Course Description:
In this Tea Room we prep you for what’s to come during, and after, pregnancy as a dental hygienist.

You’ll learn to:

• Understand your rights during pregnancy, maternity leave, and returning to work
• Review your rights as employees during pregnancy, maternity leave, and postpartum return to work
• Differentiate between at-will employment and FMLA and the importance of written agreements
• Familiarize with tools and products other hygienists recommend to make returning to work easier.
• Identify strategies to build a healthy work–life balance as a parent and professional.
• About occupational exposures to be mindful of while pregnant
• Access credible resources and reading materials to support their journey into motherhood and career balance.
