Course Description:
Dental visits can still be a source of anxiety for many patients, which may increase the likelihood of medical emergencies during appointments. This course is designed to equip dental professionals with the skills to accurately diagnose and effectively manage the most common medical emergencies. Participants will explore a wide range of potential scenarios from syncope to anaphylactic shock, with a focus on appropriate treatment protocols. The course will also emphasize the critical role of preventative measures, including thorough patient assessments prior to treatment, and highlight the importance of a well-stocked and accessible medical emergency kit.
